Ralph L. Levin is honored as Senior Counselor by the Illinois State Bar Association for his professional service as an attorney for 50 years.

Partner Steve Levin attended the luncheon to congratulate his father on his lifetime of achievement. Other honorees included Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court, Mary Ann McMorrow.

Rick Levin was a team leader for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Midwest Disposition Program.

Rick helped run this program to teach one hundred and twenty-five lawyers from multiple states how to take, prepare for, and defend depositions. Rick has been on the faculty of NITA since 1998. This organization teaches practicing lawyers how to be effective trial lawyers. He teaches and lectures for NITA several times a year.

Rick Levin lectured and presented to the Grant Thorton Courtroom Presentation Skills Program

Grant Thorton is a large accounting and consulting firm who employs accountants, analysts, economists, and fraud examiners. In addition to lecturing about expert testimony in the courtroom, Rick demonstrated a mock cross-examination and closing argument of an attorney in a legal malpractice action.

Rick Levin is awarded the Outstanding Adjunct Professor Award from the Northwestern University School of Law

The recipient of this award is selected each spring by second-year, third-year, and graduate students to honor the teaching excellence of adjunct faculty members. This will be the fourth time Rick has received the award since its establishment in 1996. Rick has now won the award in the years 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.

Rick Levin lectures for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Midwest Disposition Program

Rick lectured lawyers on direct examination and cross examination of witnesses. He taught lawyers how to effectively litigate and try cases in front of a jury. Rick also lectured for this program in March of 2001.

Adam lectured to practicing attoneys on how to effectively handle, litigate, and arbitrate uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage in Illinois.

Rick lectured to a group of law students about finding a job in small litigation law firms. He also discussed career opportunities for attorneys who wanted to be litigators.

Rick Levin authored a chapter in "The Automobile Litigation Handbook"

This book was published by the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Education Fund. This article advises attorneys how to represent their clients in uninsured and underinsured arbitrations in Illinois.

Rick Levin is selected for the "40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 Years Old to Watch."

The Law Bulletin Publishing Company solicited nominations from attorneys throughout Illinois for their annual "40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 Years Old to Watch." Nominating attorneys were asked to submit the names of attorneys under 40 years old who stood out from others their age. Nominators were asked to give strongest consideration to a nominee's lawyering skill, then contribution to the profession, and finally, to society.
