Despite this finding, no precautions were taken to ensure that workers would be protected from falling off of the roof. Construction related accidents are common causes of personal injury, permanent disability and wrongful death. These accidents are caused by dangerous conditions that exist at a jobsite, including unsafe work methods, dangerous products and toxic substances, among others.
Very often workers injured on a jobsite do not know that they have rights in addition to worker's compensation. These causes of action are called third party cases. They may provide injured workers and their families with much needed compensation, especially in cases where a worker is unable to return to work as a result of his or her injuries.
At Levin Riback Law Group, we have a thorough understanding of this area of the law. We diligently investigate these unfortunate accidents and work with our clients to make sure that they understand their rights and receive proper and just compensation for their losses and injuries.
