Man lost finger in accident
Rick Levin obtained a verdict on behalf of a client who lost his finger as the result of a defective product he was using while at work. The verdict awarded was the highest in Illinois for a product liability claim resulting in the loss of a finger.

Product liability law deals with accidents that are caused by defective or unsafe products where the manufacturer has often breached its duty of care. It also deals with breach of implied or express warranty and circumstances where a manufacturer fails to properly warn users of any dangerous characteristics a product may have.
